XP I'm pretty sure. Check the registry for DLL
search paths

| search, how do we tell it to stop? Literally, it
| causes a 15 second delay between hitting the File
| -> Open -> (directory drop down list box) and
| actually getting the new directory list shown.
Have you searched the MS KB for help on this ?
My guess is that there will be a registry change
to fix or workaround it. And that you will seem
similar issues even when dealing solely with MS
servers.
