No, we never isolated where the problem was. We moved to 3.0.14a because
it contains a number of Win2K3 SP1 fixes that we needed, and it fixed
this problem too.

Do you have a Win2k3 domain controller? If so, I'd highly suggest
upgrading your version of Samba.
