Hello,
i have the following problem with samba 3.0.11:
Two servers in different domains (one member of domain a, the other
backup domain controller of domain b). Between the pdc´s of the domain
a and b an interdomain trust was established. For certain posixgroups a
groupmapping configured.
Unter Windows NT the mapped groups are visible and i am able to add
them to the rights configuration of the share.
Under Windows NT two shares were configured:
Share 1: In the case the user is added to the shared with read-access
rights the user can view the content of the share.
Share 2: In the case the a group with the user is added, the access to
the content ist denied although i can connect to the share.
./smbclient -U <username> -d 4 -W rbb \\\\<memberserver of domain
a>\\<sharename>$
pm_process() returned Yes
added interface ip=172.16.9.20 bcast=172.16.9.255 nmask=255.255.254.0
added interface ip=127.0.0.1 bcast=127.255.255.255 nmask=255.0.0.0
