Hi there,
I'm running Samba 3.0.10 on a Debian Sarge (testing), with a LDAP-Backend.
I'd like to use roaming profiles. Here's an extract of my config:
<snip>
logon script = STARTUP.BAT
logon path = \\%L\profiles\%U
[profiles]
~ comment = Profile Share
~ path = /daten/profiles
~ read only = No
~ create mask = 0600
~ directory mask = 0700
~ browseable = Yes
~ guest ok = Yes
~ profile acls = Yes
~ csc policy = disable
~ force user = %U
~ valid users = %U @"Domain Admins"
</snip>
I created a folder in "/daten/profiles" named "joe" and copied the local
profile of this user to the server. When the user shuts down the
computer, a directory "%u" is created in "/daten/profiles" that stores
the profile of the user "joe".
I don't know, why the profile isn't stored in the "joe"-directory. Can
anybody help? (I use ext3 with acl-support and permitted joe and
Administrator to rwx the "joe"-folder).
Thanks.
Holger
