[Samba] machine password changes fail (solved?)

It seems that with the patch for Microsoft hotfix MS04-
011 the problems with changing the machine password are 
solved as well.

We do not see new entries appear in the Windows system 
logfile for the netlogon service:

Changing machine account password for account PC_XXXXX$ failed with the following 
error: 
The stub received bad data. 

Can anyone confirm this?
