[Samba] windows 2000 drive connection issue

I've got a 2.2.3a-12 (Debian Stable) Samba server running on a small network
with 98, 2000, and XP machines. The server is a domain controller and the
computers are members of the domain. We are using login scripts to map the
drives.
I have one computer that is having a weird issue. When the user first logs
on, you can go to My Computer and see the drive fine. Double-clicking on the
drive results in a window being opened with the files (like normal), but in
the address bar at the top, you see a red "X" on the icon. From that point
on, you will have the red X. When saving files, the user gets a "Permanent
connection not available" message, but the file saves OK.
I have mapped other drives letters, using both the login script and manually
mapping them in My Network Places. All mappings to this share give the same
result. Other Windows 2000 machines on this network don't have this
problem. Any ideas?
The output of testparm follows:
