[Samba] ntlmv2 smbpasswd problem

Hi,

has anyone seen this before?

[schlegel at gauss schlegel]$ smbpasswd
Old SMB password:
New SMB password:
Retype new SMB password:
Server did not provide 'target information', required for NTLMv2
rpc_pipe_bind: rpc_send_auth_reply failed.
machine 127.0.0.1 does not support SAMR connections, but LANMAN password
changed are disabled
Failed to change password for schlegel

PDC ist Fedora Core 1 / samba-3.0.4-1.FC1, client is FC1 or FC2, same
result. Ldap based setup.

smb.conf excerpt:

min protocol = NT1
lanman auth = no
client lanman auth = no
client ntlmv2 auth = yes
