G'day,

Just upgraded from samba 2.x to samba 3.

Working through differnces in smb.conf with the very good samba docs.

One unexplained behavour (at lease that I can find).

Two users, one "file" the other "administrator".

Using a win98 client I loginto the domain and file has his share in
network neighbourhood, adminsitrator dose not.

If I use smbclient //servername/file -Ufile%secret then all good, in the
file home share.
If I use smbclient //servername/administrator -Uadministrator%secret
then all good, in the adminstrator home share.

So why dosn't the home share for adminstrator show in the network
neighbourhood like other users?

I've gone through the docs and cann't see a reason for this.

Regards,

Ashley
