[Samba] Compiling error?

Hi all,

I am running RH 9 and samba 3.0.2pre1
When I try to access my samba server I cannot access 
(\\server is not accessible .... The server service is not started)
And this pops up in my log:

I configured using: --with-automount --with-configdir=/etc/samba
--prefix=/usr

Any ideas anyone?
