I now tried 3.0.2rc2 instead of 3.0.0 and the failure message changed
to

| session setup failed: NT_STATUS_TRUSTED_RELATIONSHIP_FAILURE

Still, it is unclear to me, what can cause such a message, as the
domain has successfully been joined.
