I'm getting the following error message with smbd.log:

[2003/11/01 20:33:39, 0] smbd/oplock_linux.c:linux_init_kernel_oplocks(287)
  Failed to setup RT_SIGNAL_LEASE handler
[root at ls1 samba]#

I'm running 2.2.7a Samba and Redhat version 9 (kernel 2.4.20-20.9).

What I'm trying to actually do is get a W2K box which is running my
IIS/Frontpage stuff to refer to the webs actually on a remote share (my
linux box running samba). (I'm not wanting to run the frontpage extensions
on the linux box.)

But I'm getting security problems, and messages like the following in the
event log:

Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions:

Error #e002e Message: Cannot set the permissions for file,
<file://\\ls1\webs\q2ktest\_vti_script> \\ls1\webs\q2ktest\_vti_script.

Any thoughts?
