It's pretty much a rule of thumb to *never* use a RedHat .0 
release. Believe it or not 8.0 was a lot better in this 
respect than many previous ones.

Hopefully 8.1 is out soon since 7.3 (which I've been *very* 
impressed with) is EOL'd at the end of this year.
