That's not quite what I had in mind. If I understand correctly your saying
that I can authenticate my VPN users against the Samba PDC smbpasswd file.

What I'm more interested in is how, once the user has been authenticated
with PoPToP and has been assigned an IP address, how they then authenticate
themsleves against the Samba PDC so that their login script executes as
normal.
