[Samba] Slow File Reading

Hi,

I am using samba to serve a myob premier file to a number of win98 machines.

The file is around 140mb and access is generally very slow.

oplocks are turned off.

when accessing it from a win2000 machine, it is a bit quicker and the logs (log level = 3) seem
quite different (SMBreadX instead of SMBlseek). Is this likely to be the cause of the performace differences, and where can i find documentation on the differences.
