I guess it would help if I read the entire message....

Is /usr/libexec in /etc/ld.so.conf?

If not try:

echo '/usr/libexec' >> /etc/ld.so.conf
ldconfig

then start it up again....

Did you try to enable some sort of additional printing functionality? It
looks like it's looking for a CUPS (Common Unix Printing System)
library. See www.cups.org.

Hi,
I was hoping someone would be able to help me out with a problem i've
been 
having with samba.  A few days ago I tried to do some configurations and

something went wrong and now I can't start up the server anymore.
Here's the error message i keep receiving:

/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libcups.so.2" not found

I checked in the /usr/libexec directory and see that the file is there.
I 
have no clue what's going on.  Any help anyone can provide would be
greatly 
appreciated.
