Best thing to do if you're implementing a CIFS server is to
turn up at the CIFS conference in Santa Clara, CA on August 15th.
All the CIFS implementors (except Microsoft) usually turn up
and test.

It really is worth it ! Good luck if you're coding from scratch
(you're going to need it :-).
