[Samba] problems with mandrake samba and xp

The second problem means that there is an entry in your smb.conf file called "read prediction" that
has nothing to do with samba. You should delete that line.
The first problem(s) mean that users are not getting authenticated properly. What kind of access
restrictions are you trying to setup?
man smb.conf
Read the sections about username and password validation. There are several different ways that you
can try to set this up.
