[Samba] passwd chat

Hi,

My Samba 2.2.7 works as a Primary Domain Controller on Redhat Linux 7.2. 
Everything works fine until user tries to change his password. When using 
scandinavian characters (and/or shift+numbers) Samba syncs /etc/passwd 
wrongly. If user dosent use those characters Samba syncs /etc/passwd correctly.

My clients use Windows NT 4.0 with Finnish keyboard layout and I guess 
thats the problem because Samba updates smbpasswd just fine (even with 
scandinavian characters) but password sync dosen't work.

Here's some lines from my smb.conf:
passwd program = /usr/bin/passwd %u
passwd chat = *New*password* %n\n *new*password* %n\n *successfully*
unix password sync = yes
encrypt passwords = yes

Any hints?
