[Samba] winbind support for messengers

hii,

i have configured winbind with squid. and it gives good result.
but i can't use messengers. when i run squid with winbind enable, then users 
get most of the websites they want but they cannot retrive or run 
messengers.

what can be the reason? does winbind not support messengers?
can anyone help me to make messengers working with winbind?
