[Samba] net ads join / kerberos errors

After digging through the archives and not finding anything...(some close
but no cigars.)

I'm running FreeBSD 5.1 with samba 3.0.0,1, krb5-1.3.1, when I try to net
ads join I get the following error:

I can join via RPC but all ADS commands fail with the same message. RPC
calls all fail when scripted...but don't produce any capturable output. In
fact exit status is usually 0, but the output is NULL.
