[Samba] Re: Domain password server not available

This is the same problem that I am seeing with a Win2K PDC.  I can join 
the domain and everything looks good, however I can not access the 
directories from Windows.  If I change the security to server everything 
works fine, however I need the security set to domain for support with 
some applications.

Did you specify the "PDC" in your smb.conf or are you broadcasting for 
it? (eg. "password server = *")

Can you resolve the domain controller from your Samba machine?
