don't do that
put the profile in it's own share...
this is clearly stated in the howto

Note: [lkcl 26aug96 - we have discovered a problem where Windows clients
can maintain a connection to the [homes] share in between logins. The
[homes] share must NOT therefore be used in a profile path.]
