[Samba] How to connect from XP to a samba domain

Hello,

when I trie to connect to our samba domain with my new XP machine I get
( translated from german )    Access denied

I have already set requiresignorseal to 0.

Do I need to register the machine in the smbpasswd ?

Can anyone tell me how to connect ?
