Hi!

Sorry, but my english is little.
I have RedHat 8.0 with samba 2.2.6-1. My samba works with WindowsNT4.0
domain (winbind). This is ok.
To linux server (/dev/lp0) is attached printer HP DeskJet 870Cxi.
Problems:
1. I add two drivers with CUPS:
	first - HP DeskJet 870C, Foomatic + gimp-print-ijs
Description: atrament_2
Location:
Printer State: idle, accepting jobs.
Device URI: parallel:/dev/lp0

	second - Local Raw Printer
Description: HP870C
Location:
Printer State: idle, accepting jobs.
"Ready to print."
Device URI: parallel:/dev/lp0

I connect to: http://localhost:631/admin/.
When I select "Configure Printer" I have communicat:

What is this?

When I select "Print Test Page"

Printer atrament_2 - prints good, bad is page format.
Printer HP870C - prints bad - zigzak :-((

This is my problems with CUPS.
Here is samba:

In this configuration I see printers in network. But, when I click install,
I see communicat server not driver. Install locally. But original driver
from HP - not include *.inf.

I install driver manual. Create (windowsNT 4.0 Wks) port: "Samba Local Port"
and connect to printer HP870C and printer not work :-(.
What is wrong? And how this correct?
