Hello all,

I installed Mandrake Linux 8.2 on the servers of my company and on my
workstation and i am enjoying it very much, but now i want to install it on
some employers workstations. Some of the users liked Mandrake 9.0 very much,
but the only problem to them is to mount the windows shares, they don't like
to go in komba2 and mount the share, for be able to save or open any file in
a win98 workstation. So can i create a /network directory to be automaticly
mounted when a user click on any workstation name in there. I tryed to use
lisa, but OpenOffice and another programs do not access the lisa function
only kde programs, so the users still have to mount the shares in komba
before. Is there any other way to make it work like the windows network
neighborhood??? This is the only problem for my users starting using
linux.... Please help me.
Another problem is in my linux 9.0 workstation, i am using winbind to
authenticate it and it is working fine to the usernames but i am having a
problems with the group names, they are not beeing recognized by the
workstation, every time i log on to the workstation with a valid samba user
it says "Can't set a name to the 10001 group". Remember that my server is a
Samba 2.2.5 and the workstation is Samba 2.2.6. What is wrong?? Wasn't
winbind supposed to share usernames and group information as well??

Tanks very much for the help and sorry for the long email..
