[Samba] "The network path was not found." error message

Can you ping the machines one from the other?

Have you checked the firewall settings on both
machines? Try it by turning the firewalls off.

And last but not least, try it with a very simple
smb.conf file. (<- this is how I brought samba to run
in my network)
