[Samba] Samba 2.2.6 Compile error

Hi ,

Appreciate your help......

I've downloaded, unzipped and untarred Samba2.2.6 on my Solaris 8
machine.

Now when I do ./configure - I get the following error after a while:

"checking for test routines... configure: error: cant find test code.
Aborting config"

I am using gcc 2.95.3.
