[Samba] Umask in Unix and samba

Hi

I have a question concering umask in unix, when users create files in a
share, is the umask set in their login files used? If it is, does it
override the create mask in Samba? Or must i use force create mode to make
sure umask in the login files is not used. I assume I must use force mode,
but need to verify this.
