I had a similar problems yesterday as well, except I had changed where I
wanted my profiles stored, as I'm already running a Win2k home network.

What I did was remove the user from the smbpasswd file, and then added him
again. So it looked like this:

smbpasswd -x me
smbpasswd -a me

Worked like a charm, as it automatically updated this settings.

HTH.

Regards,
Scott
