It is still valid for a default installation of
Mandrake Linux (8.1 or
8.2), since Mandrake's kernel does not support the
bestbits patches,
although that should be possible in the near future
with the merging of
the ACL code. I believe the latest devel kernels may
have this.

So, in the context of the rest of the article
(choosing a FS during
installation), it is correct.
