[Samba] samba and FTP

I setup Samba 2.2.5 on a Mandrake 8. 2 Linux box and everything seems to
work fine for clients in the labs connecting and there accounts being
verified by my W2K machine using Winbind.  I would now like to setup the
machine to accept FTP connections and have the username and password
verified by the same W2K machine.  I have tried using PAM with no luck.
Would there be a better way to do this and if so, any help would be
appreciated.
