[Samba] After Update Problem running applications from samba share

Hi,

after upgrading our storage server from samba2.0.5? to samba2.2.3a we are no longer able to start applications installed on samba shares.
We get no real error messages, so I can't search for them.

Has anyone any good idea how to solve the problem ?

Installing the Software again is no options because it is our company finacial
database system.

Hope someone can help me.
