[Samba] w2k vs. XP

just starting to migrate our system from NT4 to a new generation. We
use a samba 2.2.x-machine as PDC, file- and printserver.

While there are many points I want to focus on the samba-point here:

Is there any preference on w2k or XP when trying to insert a new
machine into an existing NT4-samba-network. Sharing of userprofiles is
a very important thing.
