upgrade to samba 2.2.2 from 2.2.1.a rpm

I have "successfully" install 2.2.2 from source.  One minor draw back ;-) 
nothings changed according to my server.  I know I missed something 
obvious.  I cp swat into my xinetd include directory.  I restarted 
xinetd.  I'm not hung up on swat (though it would be nice to have) but I 
would like to have 2.2.2 running instead of 2.2.1a.

what did I miss?
