File Permissions

I am running Samba 2.2.2 on AIX 4.3.3.  We want to have the file 
permissions set to 775 for all files created in the samba shares.  I tried 
adding the line create mask = 0775 to the share, but that still didn't 
work.  The file permissions are set to 664.  Anybody know of a way to get 
the permissions set the way I want?
