Users get network timeout errors

At first I thought the issue was contained to my Win2k machines, it is
not. Windows 98 and Me report that "the network is busy." I have seen
some posts in the archives that have mentioned that the problemn can be
worked around by trying several times to connect, but I can not do this
in this instance. I've run smbstatus and do not receive any errors.
Please someone out there give me a hand.
Thank You,
James Simons
