Agreed.  I've been running Samba 2.x in a production environment for 
nearly a year and have not had any serious problems.  Heck, I haven't 
even looked at my production server for two months.

If you install the production release and follow the PDF howto included 
with the source, I can't see how you can possibly go wrong!!!
