Hello,

During voluntary password change on WIN98 I found that if user changes password using Password changing buttons (In Control pannel):
<Change Windows password>  -> <Micorosoft Networking>

User gets error : Invalid Old password. In Samba log I found:

[2002/02/21 16:14:41, 0] smbd/chgpasswd.c:check_oem_password(817)
  check_oem_password: incorrect password length (934728415).
[2002/02/21 16:52:37, 0] smbd/chgpasswd.c:check_oem_password(817)
  check_oem_password: incorrect password length (-354522312).

But even after error message password is changed !

If user changes password using Password changes buttons :
<Others passwords>  ->  <Micorosoft Networking>

Then is everything is ok !

I am using SAMBA 2.2.3a as PDC

Thanks for attention :)
