[Samba] Error using "ls -l" in my samba share directory

I get the following error whenever I try an ls -l in my samba share I'm
testing.  If I haven't written any files from a PC this works fine, but if
there is a PC file in the directory, I get this error:

# ls
test.txt
# ls -l
total 0
ld.so.1: ls: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/lib/nss_winbind.so.1: symbol
socket: referenced symbol not found
Killed
#


Samba Gurus?  Samba Team?  Anyone know?
