[Samba] Help with WINBIND on Solaris-8 /etc/pam.conf

I have managed to get NT user+domain logins enabled on a RH Linux box but cannot
seem to get the same on Solaris 8.
Under Solaris 8 the wbinfo commands u g t m etc all work OK. Problem arises that
the getent passwd and group commands do not return the NT domain user+domain
entries as per the Linux setup.
Has any success been achieved with the Solaris 8 implementation of winbind NT
user+domain authentication/login and if so how?
