[Samba] Printing notification

How about making a wrapper for the lpr command in smb.conf?  Pass the
client's name and ip with the other print parameters.  It could run in
the background and check the queue until the job has been completed,
then run smbclient to send a popup message.

What values to you see with set > shellvalues in your print filter.
Would using email an OK way to notify them? Joel
