Active Directory and SAMBA

Hello,

    Does anyone know when SAMBA will support Active Directory in
non-mixed mode (no DC)?  Since we may be going to a non-mixed mode soon
so I also have to plan for a SAMBA replacement (as a contingency).  Any
suggestions?
