Try and use the samba-2.2.2-20011013.i386.rpm
Don't use the src RPM.

I downloaded the samba-2.2.2-20011013.src.rpm to see if it will work on RH
7.2 when I try to install this file I get this error message
Error:cannot create %sourcedir /usr/src/redhat/sources
Any ideas what I am doing wrong does it work with 7.2
