samba-2.0.7 on solaris-Help

I am compiling samba-2.0.7 on solaris8
any body has seen any issues with 64bit solaris8 and samba-2.0.7
compiler version is gcc-2.8.1

I tried with gcc2.95.3

I would appreciate if any input is given here, same version compiles
good without any changes on solaris2.6
