Locking Problems?

A final report on my locking issues:

I am sorry to say I was never able to correct these problems. After
testing for several weeks with persistent database errors, the client
finally gave up and resorted to a Win2K box for the server. At the time
the "server" was put in place, the users were experiencing sever
problems trying to run the Telemagic application on my Linux Samba
share. We moved the files to the W2k Server, and all problems instantly
disappeared.

I cannot state for certain where the problem lay, but my intuition tells
me it was an improperly configured Samba server.

Thanks for suggestions and help.
