Hi,

I use the following smb.conf (as basic as possible):

[global]
         workgroup = <wg name>
         server string = <server name>
         security = SHARE
         log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m
         max log size = 50

[seti]
         comment = Seti dir
         path = /home/seti
         guest ok = Yes

When trying to list the shares (by double clicking the computer in "network
neighbourhood" from WinXP I get the following in the log.smbd:

[2001/11/06 22:41:34, 0]
lib/util_sock.c:open_socket_in(830)
[2001/11/06 22:41:34, 0]
smbd/oplock.c:init_oplocks(1245)
   open_oplock_ipc: Failed to get local UDP socket for address 100007f.
Error was
  Cannot assign requested
address

Anyone knowing what can cause this???

Best regards,
Pim Bliek
