log file misconfigured in rpm package

I installed the samba.org provided 2.2.0 rpm for redhat6.2 x86

It installed a file /etc/logrotate.d/samba which tells the log rotate
program to rotate the files /var/log/samba/log.nmb and
/var/log/samba/log.smb.

Unfortuantly the smb.conf installed by that rpm does not create those
file but rather creates /var/log/samba/log.nmbd and 
/var/log/samba/log.smbd.

This results in annoying emails every night from cron telling me that
those files do not exist.

Should be a trivial fix for the packager.
