For some time now, I have been tring to create a DOS network boot disk
that I can connect to linux samba server by 'net use'. My samba server
has been running fine and I connect Win9x clients (no password encryption)
with no problems.

I created a network dos disk and I am able to connect to a Win9x share
with no problems, but when I try to connect to the smb server, I
get rejected for what I have to assume is password problems. The clipped
a piece of the log file here:

I have not tried to turn on encryption because I thought DOS send plain
text passwords. I have scoured the web looking for pointers without
success.

Could someone please advise? Please feel free to
correspond directly or through the mailing list.
