cant delete jpg files in win2k

hi,

you all know the preview function that win2k has - when you click on a jpg 
file, you get you get a small preview of the file in the lower left corner of 
the explorer-window.

the problem is that i cant delete files that are previewed/accessed in such a 
way (mpeg, jpg, mp3 etc). i've tried several options in the smb.conf, but they 
all dont seem to work.

if someone has a good hint pls let me know.

ps. getting rid of the preview function is not an option :)
