I have a Redhat 6.2 Samba server that has 3 NT4 machines connecting
with no problems using plain text passwords. I just upgraded one
machine to Win2k and now it will not connect to a share on Samba
server and the server does not show up it Network Neighborhood.

I first thoughts are that this might be a password problem. Does
Win2k setup with encrypted passwords? If so can I go back to
plaintext with the NT4 reg file?

Anyone that is familiar with this problem I would appreciate a little
help.
